I DID IT!

Sisters to the Summit was the first all women charity trek to the summit of Kilimanjaro - the highest mountain in Africa.  I took part in the trek to raise funds for two HACT projects: Self-Help Housing and Reach In.  More information about these projects is available at www.hact.org.uk/self-help-housing and www.hact.org.uk/reach

As expected, this was a great experience and it was certainly a personal challenge - physically, mentally and emotionally! I've worked in social housing for over thirty years and this was (and is) the first time I've ever fundraised so *actively* in all that time.  I've updated the page throughout, initially with my training progress and then with my fundraising.
