Ouch...... It hurts, nothing specific but just a general ache all over! But surprisingly not as bad as I thought, the hills become kinder after the steep nasties of Cornwall, passed through Devon yesterday and are now in Taunton in somerset now. Heading off to the otherside of Bristol today ready to set off onto Wales on Wednesday. Approximately 200miles so far....
Ok, some of you keen eyed sponsorship hounds out there may have noticed that we have changed our proposed target, this is mainly due to the austerity measures that everyone is feeling, and while everyone has been so generous from their own pockets it is apparent that the corporate sponsorship that we were hoping to get has not been forth coming so we have lowered our target in line with that, however we are still going to be doing our best to beat that target so if you know anyone who may be willing to sponsor us please do pass on the link, it all for a very good cause.

In May 2011, we are going to spend three weeks cycling a tandem over 1000 miles, across the length of Britain, stopping off on the way to climb the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. In doing so we hope to raise £10,000 for Maggie's Centre Oxford.
Jane Bates (my Mum) found great support from Maggie's Oxford whilst battling Cancer. Sadly, she passed away in August 2009. Mum believed that Maggie's centre's were a fantastic resource that everyone should have access to. For this reason we plan to cycle in memory of her, for Maggies. Please help us to reach our goal of raising £10,000 by donating generously and passing this link on to your friends and family. It really is a worthwhile cause!!
Feeling particularly active, fancy a challenge? then why not join us for all, or part of, our trip? You can find details on our blog. Please click here.
