I am taking part in the Politics Society sleep-out, staying rough on the streets of Coventry overnight on February the 26th. All I am allowed to bring is a sleeping bag and the clothes on my back. It is to raise awareness of the hardships faced by homeless people and to raise money for Cyrenians, a local charity that rebuilds the lives of homeless people.

It will be a tough night with horrible weather but the point is to experience the lows of rough sleeping and open our eyes to the people in society we overlook.
