We provide expert care and support to young people with cancer

Story

Never having swam in open water until May this year, Carl and James are training to swim a marathon 5.25 miles (8.4km) from the southern to northern end of Lake Coniston in the Lake District. Whilst Carl is an ex-international athlete (not that he tells you...), James has never even run this far so it's set to be a real challenge.

Battling the cold, choppy water, inattentive swimmers and the odd fisherman will present unique challenges alongside the fatigue of swimming for 3-5 hours continuously.

We're doing it for the Teenage Cancer Trust which is a great cause so please be generous enough to donate however much you can afford!

Thanks,

James and Carl.
