Story

Hello friends, family and aquaintances.....

As many of you know we are attmpeting to cross the English Channel in our inflatable kayaks, our first dates in April have been unfortunatly postponed due to adverse weather. However we now have new dates of the 12/13th May or the 26th/27th May. We are still doing this because it sounds difficult and because hopefully the thought of 6 of us in 3 kayaks bobbing up and down for 22 miles, means you will all give generously to this excellent cause.

Sadly we have also had some very sad news and that it that Lucy, the reason we are doing this, has died afer her battle with cancer. Lucy was only 32 years old, and will be sorely missed by all those who knew her. What we are attempting may be difficult but it nothing compared to what Lucy has faced in the past couple of years and hopefully by crossing the channel we can help to raise money for those who have supported her, the Manorlands Hospice, run by the Sue Ryder Charity.  I would be grateful if you could dig deep and help us support this great cause.

Thanks

James

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.
