James' Cape Town Charity Challenge (Final Day)

Global Vision International Charitable Trust - GVI Cape Town Big 5 Charity Challenge · 12 November 2011 ·
Hi there
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page!
On Wednesday 16th November I am going to be taking part in an amazing challenge to raise funds for the projects GVI works with helping disadvantaged children within townships surrounding Cape Town.
The larger challenge is to complete 350km in 5 days without any motorised transport. For a select bunch of fitness fanatics, this is the task ahead of them. For me, I have taken it upon myself to sign up to complete the whole last day of this intense test of endurance.
Along with a few dozen others, I will be walking from our base in Fish Hoek to Kirstenbosch Gardens at the foot of Table Mountain. This is about 25km and should take a good 5-6hrs. Then we will be climbing to the top of the mountain. This may take 2-3hrs and will complete a very long and arduous day. In recognition of this, if you are able to donate to these incredibly worthwhile causes, to help all the wonderful children we work with, it will be truly appreciated. Thank you!
Best Wishes
James
