A good friend has recently been diagnosed with ALL Leukemia so we have decided to do what we can to help him and others fight this by running a half marathon for charity... I say we, not me and my friend with Leukemia, that would be mental. I refer instead to my good friend and certified oxygen thief JJ Thompson.

Our friend who has been diagnosed is absolutely dominating his cancer and well on they way to his recovery but one thing that is of vital importance is the supply of a blood and bone marrow donor.

Every 20 minutes a person in the UK is told they have blood cancer and for many a bone marrow or blood stem cell transplant is pivotal to their recovery. 70% of people are not compatible with a close  family member. Anthony Nolan helps to match those people with life saving donors as well as carrying out vital research in to stem cell and marrow transplants. Its a great cause that saves lives so please give what you can and thank you!
