We desperately need to raise £20,000 to build a second safe house for 40 street children in Meru district in Kenya.  Every night these children spend on the streets they are faced with cold, hunger and extreme danger.  We have the land, we just need to money to build the house.  

Imagine being 8 years old, your parents have died, you have nobody to care for you. You are cold hungry and completely alone.  You sleep on the streets and sometimes you sniff glue to ease the pain and hunger. You beg and scavenge in the bins for something to eat. Tonight in Kenya, this is the reality for thousands of children, some as young as 4 years old.
