Story

Dear all,

I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2015 for Haileybury Youth Trust [HYT] on the 11th of October 2015. Having spent 6 months volunteering for HYT 4 years ago, I have seen first hand the difference the charity makes to Ugandan communities. HYT trains local Ugandan youths how to construct using Interlocking Stabilised Soil Blocks (ISSB). This fantastic, sustainable technology is then used to construct new water tanks, classroom blocks and energy saving kitchens for local villages and schools that are most in need, One Village at a time. Through this process the trained youths gain an invaluable new skill, as well as income, and the new facilities transform the villages. To find out more about the great work that HYT do daily, please visit their website: http://hytuganda.com/

It would be great if you could donate and share my page so I can raise as much as possible to help them continue their amazing work. However large or small the donation, every little helps and it is going towards a fantastic cause! Thank you.

Love James x
