We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

Hello Lovely Guests.  This is our page in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and centre of excellence in training dogs to alert deaf people to important sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings.

Naomi's father, Michael has been deaf for over 20 years.  7 years ago, Hearing Dogs partnered him up with Matt, a lovely little dog who helps him in his day-to-day life.  He alerts Michael to the doorbell ringing, the telephone, dangers around the home and outdoors and generally makes himself useful. After being on the waiting list for three years, Michael's partner Jacqui is hoping to be paired with a hearing dog very soon.

Hearing Dogs give many deaf people increased confidence and independence and allow people to interact more easily with the world.

They are very deeply underfunded and need every penny.
