Story

Why would anyone put themselves through this? Knees aren't meant to do the same thing over and over for that many hours... especially post 30! Well, actually I do know... I'm doing this now are to help raise money and awareness for the Imperial College Healthcare Charity; Ovarian Cancer research fund. This is a charity very close to my heart and I marvel at the work that they are doing that makes such a huge difference in many women's lives (along with their family's).

It's important to me that I help raise funds for them to continue the incredible work that they do, so I can in some small way repay the organisation which has done so much for my family personally. This specific research is at the absolute coal face of ovarian cancer research & treatments; it has been making inroads into a disease that affects millions of women, often with few obvious symptoms. Us lads also have to do our bit to raise awareness of the symptoms, be able to recognise them ourselves and encourage the ladies in our lives to get checked. Copy & paste link below to learn more.

I have no idea what sort of time I'm going to be able to complete this little dash in but I guess I'll try and win it...right? I've started 'carbo-loading' super early to make sure I have the best chance!
