Julie's Wobbleberry Challenge page

Wobbleberry Challenge · 6 October 2016
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. As a mid forties wuss who is relatively new to horses having only started riding at 35 despite having a childhood obsession, the thought of my taking part in a Cross country and show jumping event would have most of my friends and family rolling on the floor in stitches and disbelief!!
Hannah who sadly lost her battle with cancer left a legacy that has inspired me to get on and up my game, with the aim of taking part with my fellow wobbleberries, a group of mature none eventing scaredycats, in a British Eventing 80 competition by Autumn of 2019. For my none-horsey friends, this means taking part in a 3 stage competition comprising of dressage, showjumping and cross country - makes me feel sick at the thought of it!!
Me and my horse Josie, aged 7, are new to this whole jumping malarky, so it's one heck of a challenge.
Despite being registered as a wobbleberry in 2017, through my horse's injury and illness, we will be deferring again and hoping to complete in 2019.
If anyone can spare a donation, no matter how small, I would appreciate your support. Plus it will make me have to do it then!!!!!
Thankyou loads in advance and you can see our progress on my facebook page. Julie xxx
