In the summer of 2013, shortly after completing Race for Life, for a recently lost friend and former teacher, I decided the next year I would up the stakes and take on a much bigger challenge. This led me to the idea of completing John O'Groats to Land's End in under 2 weeks. Initially I thought I would be in it alone, but now we have a team of 4 cyclists and 1 support car all riding for our chosen charities.

I have chosen to ride for Cancer Research UK firstly due to the fantastic work they do towards finding a cure for cancer, and secondly in memory of my Grampy who passed away 18 years ago and a friend and former teacher, who passed away in June 2013 and who always inspired me to be able to reach my goals. 

With the continual support of Cancer Research UK, a cure for cancer WILL be found.
