We help people with disabilities in Africa to get artificial limbs and limb supports

Story

In the summer of 2011, at the age of 17, I cycled solo around Europe, covering 4000 miles in just 38 days during my school holidays and Scotland in the summer of 2010.

My next challenge is to cycle from John O'Groats to Edinburgh in 24 Hours (285 miles). I have put together a team of six who will cycle the full distance. The team consists of:

Adrian Clark (myself)

Lewis Paterson

Harris McGaff

Robert Ure

Merv

Will Hodson

We set off from John O'Groats on the 4th of April.

The charity "500 miles", is a charity which "aims to support the delivery of prosthetic and orthotic services and surgery which promotes mobility and function for amputees and other disabled people in Malawi and Zambia."
