Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Today (10/03/2013) I climbed Mam Tor which is a 517 m (1,696 ft) hill near Castleton in the High Peak of Derbyshire. Over the years I have trodden many of the Derbsyhire hillsides, originally with my active outdoor children and now with my well behaved husband and much loved dog. With so many worthy charities to chose from, it was today that inspired me to decide on Mountain Rescue. Given the changing weather conditions there could have quite easily been a need for their services. It was also in 1928, an accident in the Peak District, during extreme difficulties encountered by rescuers which sparked the eventual formation of the Mountain Rescue. This charity relies totally on your generosity for all their essential items of equipment, vehicles, helicopters etc etc so thanks again.
