Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Earl Mountbatten Hospice section of my JustGiving page - Isle Walk for Miles & Miles & Miles...

For my big '60' in May, I am taking on the 2016 Isle of Wight Ultimate Challenge - a 106km walk around the stunning coast of the Isle of Wight - all in one go over the weekend of 30th April/1st May. Ahead of this, on the 10th April, I am having my head shaved; to show my solidarity to women who experience medical hair loss and to demonstrate that you can still look and feel great whether you choose to wear a personally styled wig or not.

Being passionate about helping women increase their self-esteem and confidence through improving their self-image and appearance, I
decided to set myself the target of raising a total of £6,000 for three inspiring charities for the wonderful help and support they give to ladies affected by the personally devastating side-effects of cancer treatment.

The Earl Mountbatten Hospice care for people with life-limiting illnesses, their families and carers, whilst also providing a range of alternative therapies including Look Good Feel Better workshops.

Please support me along the way! “We have a choice on how we
look and feel – they don’t…”
