Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Here at Incommunities we're really excited that this year our Group Chief Executive, Geraldine Howley, is taking over as the President of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) in May. As part of her role, Geraldine will be raising funds for The Prince’s Trust as her chosen presidential charity for the year.

The Prince’s Trust supports 13 to 30 year olds who are unemployed and those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. They have supported over 750,000 young people since it was founded in 1976 and help 100 young people every day. The Trust run a range of programmes to give practical and financial support young people may need to stabilise their lives.

To raise funds for The Prince’s Trust members of the Incommunities’ team will be taking part in events throughout the year. To start things off Geraldine Howley and two of our Assistant Chief Executives – Adrienne Reid and Greg Robinson - will be taking part in the challenging Great North Swim on Lake Windermere on the 13th June 2015. They will be joined in the swim by Judy Waugh, Director of Membership and Education at the CIH. Fingers crossed that the great British Summer is on their side!
