I joined the Riders of Shaam (ROS) back in 2014, after seeing the opportunity to make a change in the world by cycling for charity. Year on year I have Joined ROS on their epic journeys across Europe from cycling to Scotland to Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg all in the name of charity.
Fast-forward to 2018 which now brings a new challenge, cycling an marathon ride of 160 miles in one day to build a solar water well and power centre in Africa.
Three children die every minute from diseases associated with contaminated water. It is at the heart of a daily crisis faced by millions of Africa’s most vulnerable families.
