Education is the most important foundation in the life of any person. SCC has been working in Vietnam since 1992 to try and provide this essential element for hundreds of disadvantaged children each year. SCC offers scholarships for kindergarten right through to college and university, supporting students throughout. $150 can support a child in high school, while $250 can provide vocational training.
In November I will be cycling for the third year, this time from Dong Hoi to Hue, including the demilitarised zone (“DMZ”) around the 17th parallel. Some sections will be along the Ho Chi Minh trail. Flatter than last year and longer than 300km as the plan is to cycle for an extra half day.

As ever, your support would be greatly appreciated, not least by those disadvantaged children in Vietnam who can benefit enormously and directly from your contribution. I would encourage any of you who visit Vietnam to drop by the SCC in HCMC to spend time with the staff and appreciate the important work they undertake with such dedication.
