I took part in the Big Ride last year which is the best thing I've ever done. I am a keen cyclist and after watching adverts to visit Israel during the Tour de France I was moved to do something to support Palestine. What better way than supporting the children of Gaza who have been on the receiving end of the might of the Israeli state. The Big Ride is an event that has involved people from all backgrounds and faiths. Being part of it last year was incredible-we received a warm welcome in a number of towns and Cities but cycling into Bradford was unforgettable-Brilliant. Sometimes you have to stand up or cycle for something and the continuing discrimination of Palestine has to be put right and The Big Ride is a positive and social way of doing that.
