Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

What started as a trip to do some mountainbiking in the many trail centres in Wales turned into a "Why don't we cycle up Snowdon for Charity" conversation. No-one said "that's a crazy idea" and so the idea stuck, and here we are!

We intend to make the 975m climb from Llanberis to the summit using the Llanberis path. The distance is 4.5 miles. For the return journey, we intend to take the Rangers Path, and then Telegraph Valley back to Llanberis. The return route down Rangers Path is graded as double black diamond in places!

This is a very serious undertaking, and will only be possible with the correct weather conditions. If the conditions are not good enough, we will return another time to make the ascent.

We are asking for donations to the East Anglian Children's Hospices (EACH). EACH support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. They provide care and support wherever the family wishes – in families’ own homes, in the community or at one of their hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.

Their care teams help children and their families with the emotional and physical challenges they face, helping them to make the most of life.

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving

So please dig deep and donate now.
