Story
In our last visit to Iraq, we joined a medical camp organized by A World without Barriers in Najaf. As part of the camp, we visited families living in the landfills of Najaf. They are living in makeshift tents in the worst conditions possible.
They had no electricity, water, or even simple lamps or candles. The family gathers in complete darkness around each other at night to protect themselves from the wolves and animals of the desert.
This particular family has many children with their eldest son went missing while fighting against ISIS. He left over a year ago but never returned. They do not know anything about him.
This girl in the picture has a medical condition of growth hormone deficiency (GHD) where she has a body and looks of a 9 years old girl while she is 17 years old. All her siblings look weak and unhealthy.
Working together, we can raise money to build them a home where they feel safe and protected. It costs $ 8000 US to build them a home, so please donate to this cause to make these innocent souls happy! Every penny counts!
