We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

Well, it is T-1 day before the big London Marathon.  Very excited and still thrilled to be supporting Guide Dogs for Blind UK.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and supporting me and my chosen charity, Guide Dogs for the  Blind Association UK.  This charity has been providing mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. for over 75 years, as well as campaigning for the rights of people with visual impairment, educating the public about eye care and funding eye disease research.

A very gracious contributor as agreed to match all funds raised on April 24th and 25th till midnight on the 25th donated to my charity up to my £5000 goal.  Please consider making a donation in support of my 13th marathon by donating through JustGiving:  it's simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Guide Dogs UK (and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer).

Thanks in advance for your support!  Woof-woof!

Your friend,
Holly Young

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
