Hello,

Some of you may know that I partake in BJJ (Brazilian JuJitsu) or "aggressive man-cuddling" as it's sometimes known. Early this year I felt sick when I read that a woman had been raped by two of her team mates.

I've met many wonderful, great people during my 3 years of training. Some have gone on to become closest friends. Sadly not everyone who does BJJ it seems is a decent human. (in fact I'd go far as to call them a total nutjob).

Anway In order to something a bit more positive I've agreed to take apart in a ju-jitsu grapple-a-thon being organised by Brazilian Ju-Jitsu purple belt Can. Details about the event below

 

Event Details:

"We will therefore be grappling for 24 hours starting at 09:00 on Saturday 4th May 2013, trying to raise as much as possible for Rape Crisis. They work to increase awareness about the prevalance of sexual violence, press for change and support survivors.

Just like before, we're planning to stream the event live across the internet: Steve had some big plans when I spoke to him before, so with his help it should be much better quality this time. :)
