On 31st May 2006 my wife Lauren was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome a severe form of Pre-Eclampsia.

We knew nothing of this condition or in fact had even herd of it before that day, sadly we lost Lauren.

The staff on the day that were looking after Lauren did not know how best to deal or treat her condition and I am hoping that with your support we can raise awareness and in future the same mistakes are not made.

The true legacy of this tragic event would be another Mum gets to take her baby home.
