Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am, rather foolishly I suspect, in training with Cecilia Cabodi to run 5K in the Brighton Heroes Run, which will take place on Brighton and Hove seafront on 20th May 2012. Neither of us are famed for our running, but we are hoping the costumes will make us look like we are doing the slow-mo shots for TV... Look out for Wonder Woman (not me, don't have the legs for it) and Elastigirl (with matching hips) storming along the seafront.

I will be raising money for The Edward Starr Charitable Trust. There are a number of reasons why I believe this charity deserves support. It is a local charity whose work has already made a positive impact in the lives of many children, and what impresses me most is that every penny of every donation goes towards the projects - no administration fees are taken out, ever. This isn't something you can say very often.

Please give me a reason to keep up with the training and make some more children smile.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you
