Story

A common symptom of PCOS can be hirsutism (excessive hair growth), so by growing my body hair I (along with everyone else joining in with this event) am working to help women to have pride in their body hair and not to feel ashamed or freakish because they don't conform to the "norm".

I am often frustrated and angered by the demands that society puts upon me to conform to its uniform notion of beauty, but find it very difficult, frightening even, to change some of my hair-removing habits, because of the negative attention I will receive as a result. I'd like to challenge myself to see if I can do it!
