I have trained in the pool and an old quarry with water temperatures between 6 and 18 degrees. The swim is about 2.5 miles across, but with currents it is more over 3 miles. I will be doing this with 21 other swimmers all raising money for this worthy charity. 

I will be sea swimming training at silecroft in Cumbria. Please donate to this illness that has no cause, no treatment and no cure giving hope to those living with the disease.
