Story

Daisy is a 🌈 baby aged 2 year 9m she always sad that her sister is dead we vist her offten. Daisy sister died of a heart defect at 45 muites old in the same operating theater that daisy was born it 19 month later. Daisy is bike mad learning to pedal at just 2y 2m old, she done several 10km + days  so during june we are going to bike 45miles with daisy solo  we hope to do this over 12 days with rest days. But a pritty big challenge for a 2 year old!

During lockdown 15 baby a day in the uk will have died over 1000 not even a headline. The nhs saddly provides little support for families who baby die after they leave the hospital during normal times, sand as a charity is the only life line for families.

Baby death is very hard you have no memorys of nice thing you did. It also a very taboo subject and can feel very isolating and alone. Sands needs help to suport family and it been great phone lines / zoom meetings/ rembarance services on line.
