On 8th May 2017, after a dream pregnancy and a week past the due date, Beatrice Emilia Bunning was born.

 Sadly, Bea was born without a heartbeat and despite a good fight didn't make it through the night. This was a complete and heartbreaking shock for Georgia, Dom and their families as Bea seemed to be growing healthily and happily over the nine months with no apparent sign of struggle. 

Georgia and Dom are truly inspirational parents who have shown such courage in the face of unimaginable heartbreak. 

To pay tribute to Bea and her parents (my friends), I am running the London Landmarks half-marathon, hoping to raise money for Tommy's baby charity.

The sad fact is that 15 babies die every day in the UK through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death. For the majority of cases the reasons for death aren't clear, making an already unbearable time even harder for grieving families. 

Tommy's fund vital research into miscarriages, still births and premature death to save babies lives. With enough research, Tommy's hope to stop so many families going through the same suffering.

I would really appreciate whatever people can give to help support such vital and life-saving research.
