I've been volunteering for the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) for the past 5 years since I graduated from uni.

I've never met a bunch of more dedicated, passionate and sincere people who are trying their best to improve the situation for British Muslim communities. 

I'm fundraising so that the MCB can expand its nationwide campaigns like #VisitMyMosque day, challenge even more incorrect or biased reporting of Muslims/Islam in the media (especially more important post-New Zealand terror attacks) and to be better able to provide a strong community-rooted voice for Muslim communities in Britain today.

I've done Scafel Pikes (me pictured on left), so I thought it's time to conquer Ben Nevis too!
