Royal Parks Half Marathon 2015 · 11 October 2015 ·

We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

On the 11th October we will be running The Royal Park Half Marathon to raise money and give something back to The Royal Marsden Hospital whose pioneering research is changing lives.

As most of you already know, the work of The Royal Marsden is very close to our hearts. It is at the very forefront of devising new and innovative ways of diagnosing and treating patients with all forms of cancer.

To put the above into context, The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research recently featured in a Panorama special entitled 'Can you cure my cancer?' (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b052sjsg/panorama-can-you-cure-my-cancer). The programme showcases their pioneering efforts in cancer drug development, looking at the science behind drug trials as well as the patients’ view on being part of experimental treatment.

We cannot thank you enough for your support and enthusiasm so far. From a team of five runners we have now grown to an incredible 50 which is way beyond what we could have ever imagined!

Our goal is big (£15,000) but together we can totally smash it!! So please dig deep for this fantastic cause.
