Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2011 I was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma, a rare cancer where tumors grow on the retina in the eye, and it blew my family's lives apart. I was 13weeks old.
I have since started an intensive chemotherapy program and each month I go to Birmingham Childens Hospital for laser surgery and Manchester Childrens Hospital for chemotherapy. I have a fantastic family support and all the medical teams are wonderful. They are saving my life. I also have a fantastic Macmillan Nurse, Chris Lowe, and she is amazing. She deals with all sorts of things so my mummy and daddy don't have to worry.
My cousin Chloe organised a sponsered triathlon, held on 1 October 2011 to raise money for the Macmillan charity, to say thanks for helping me and also to help those remember loved ones who have fought and won or lost their battle with cancer. Look out for their total coming soon.
Another amazing friend is a lady my mummy met on a baby forum who all had babies in January 2011. She lives in Gateshead and arranged a Zumbathon, and raised an unbelievable amount of £1570.90. She is a superstar xx
