I am joining the Big Ride from London to Birmingham and Shenstone to raise funds for the MECA (Middle East Children's Alliance). Successive Israeli attacks on Gaza have traumatized children and
caused psychological problems. Physical activity improves mental and
physical health. The Big Ride is teaming up with MECA to raise funds for
 a new sports program in Gaza schools.

The Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit manufactures drone engines at its factory in Shenstone. The focus of our bike ride will be to protest at this site. Israeli armed drones are responsible for many of the deaths in Gaza and the sound of drones overhead is a source of fear.

Our bike ride will not only be raising funds but will raise awareness about the situation in Palestine in the towns and villages we  will pass through.
