Wobbleberry Challenge 2017 · 30 December 2016

We fund bone cancer research & grant wishes to seriously ill people #makingmemories

Story

The 'Wobbleberry' challenge is for middle-aged, wimpy riders to compete at a BE80 by autumn 2017, all to raise money for the wonderful Willberry Wonder Pony charity - inspired by Hannah Francis, a courageous young rider who died of an aggressive form of bone cancer just after her 17th birthday in 2016.  Hannah Francis inspired thousands of people she never met, and achieved so much in her tragically short life.

My challenge is to compete at a British Eventing 80 event by the autumn of 2017. I have never evented before nor ridden a cross country course, and have only just forced myself to start jumping in the past 6 months! To meet the challenge will require many other obstacles along the way - such as getting fitter, overcoming my nerves, training hard, and learning the new skills necessary to be able to compete safely.

Your support is my motivation to push myself way out of my comfort zone, so please give what you can to help me meet my target. All funds raised will go towards bone cancer research and granting horsey wishes to those with serious illnesses.
