This year I will be participating in the Wimbledon Village Stables Sponsored Ride, and raising money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Every year WVS runs two sponsored rides across Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park. We all have a fancy dress theme for ourselves and our horse! I've yet to think of a good one, so all suggestions welcome.

At WVS, we are committed to raising money for Charity and our Annual
Sponsored Ride is our biggest event. Over the last 44 years we have
raised nearly £1 million with over £340,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity alone.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

I promise I'll have lots of funny photos to share afterwards, and if you are free on the 22 of October, come down to Wimbledon Village and watch us parade down the High Street at 9:45 am!
