Story

Inspired by our best friend's little boy's fight against a rare and aggressive brain tumour when he was just 8 months old, I am taking part in the Great North 10K for Joseph's Appeal. This appeal was set up by our friends who have dedicated 2016 to raise £11,000 for the North of England Children's Cancer Research Fund (NECCR) - that's £1000 to mark each round of chemo Joseph had.

Those who know me do know I am a runner, but I haven't run for almost 2 years (not even a training run!) so this is a challenge for me. But this is nothing compared to what Joseph has been through in his life. Joseph is my superhero!! And as a team we will be dressed as superheroes selected by Joseph.

Thanks for reading and hopefully you have a couple of pennies to send our way!
