Hamaad's Charity Trek 2018

Charity Trek 2018 · 11 November 2018
Hi Guys
I hope that you're all having a great day and I just wanted to show a few reasons why I'm doing this charity trek for Somalia.
Somalia was recently classified by the UNDP as having a 73% poverty rate, making it one of the poorest nations in the world. Nearly 260,000 people died of starvation alone, which is entirely preventable if food supplies could be directed and targeted more effectively in the areas it is needed. Also, 600,000 people were affected by Malaria in 2014 alone. All these statistics are not meant as a fact sheet but more to show how terrible the situation is in a country, that has problems which are entirely preventable. Access to clean water and foods in the UK and other OECD nations is an essential right to existence, but for many that live in Somalia, they don't have access to either. I hope that you guys can help me in raising money for Somalia and ensuring that we can help as many people as possible in Somalia, who are in desperate need of our help.
