Story
Drought in Somalia has had devastating consequences across the country, leaving 6 million people facing food shortages and several infected water supplies. In addition to this, the constant threat of conflict and violence puts millions of lives at risk everyday. The As-Suffa Trust and Muslim Aid have been working to help the 20 million people affected by drought across East Africa by sending crucial aid such as food, water and medicine.
As part of Charity Week 2018, I will be participating in the Cadair Idris Trek in Snowdonia in aid of the East Africa Emergency Appeal, with As-Suffa and Muslim Aid, to raise money to help those in need. By donating towards this charity, you could help provide emergency aid to millions of people and help them to rebuild their lives after such a devastating event. Please do donate if possible- every donation will make a difference!
