Story

Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 8th September, together with 13 other people, I will be cycling from Kent to Cornwall to help raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. The Alzheimer’s Society is very close to the hearts of the team so we will be cycling hard to help support it.

The Ride

The ride is 300 miles long and we will be completing this tough challenge over 4 days. This will mean an average of 75 miles per day which is plenty in itself, but made a lot harder by the massive hills that sit between Kent and Cornwall. This will definitely be the hardest cycle ride that I have done but the Alzheimer’s Society is a great cause and certainly worth all the hard work we’re putting into the training for it.

If you can support us with a donation, some supplies or even just messages of goodwill and encouragement, it will be hugely appreciated by me, the rest of the team and of course the Alzheimer’s Society.

I will be setting up a ‘blog’ so that you can monitor our progress during the challenge.

Dementia & Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's disease is the most common form of dementia affecting around 417,000 people in the UK.
