St Cuthbert's hospice in Durham are an amazing local charity providing terminal care for the counties people.  Lots of locals have been effected by the big C and other terminal illnesses.  This charity has no government funding and are totally dependendant on fundraising, please dig deep.

Just running the great north run is a tiny thing in comparison to the efforts and work of the staff at St Cuthbert's.
