I am raising money for One 4 Kids which is the registered charitable trust of my employer One Solution. One 4 Kids helps disdvantaged children in the UK and worldwide. To date we have raised over £500,000.  Each year we select several charities to help and this year we have chosen one of our firm favourities and one we have given lots of support to in the past, RUDA Tanzania.

They are a very small Scottish charity who do amazing work in the Ruvuma reigon of Tanzania,namely the building of a primary school in the local area.  The children are from the local village and are able to attend the school (which is a boarding school) by the generous sponsorship of people in the UK. I personally sponsor two children to go to the school.

I am very exciting to be organising and leading a volunteer programme for RUDA and in July this year I am taking a team of 6 people from One Solution over to Tanzania.

The task is to design and build a playground and also to take over the classrooms and design a programme of fun,educational and interactive lessons for the children.

This is a tremendous challenge for me personally to organise and co-ordinate all of this. When we get there we are only on the ground for 6 days so what I have set for us is extremley ambitious.

The entire costs of this trip are very generously paid for by One Solution this means that 100% of what you donate will go straight towards the two projects.  We need to buy all the tools and materials for the playground and all the teaching resources and sports equipment.  The more we raise the more we can do.

Any amount you can give, no matter how small,will be so appreciated and will make a massive difference.
