As a middle aged grandma who has been a happy hacker for over twenty years and groom for my daughter at BE events for the past eight years the Wobbleberries challenge has inspired me to kick my butt, put my brave pants on and attempt a BE 80 event next autumn accompanied by my Irish bog pony Lowrie who has also never done anything like this.

For my unhorsey friends this involves a 4 minute dance routine whilst being judged on yours and your horses performance, completing a round of show jumping and then a 5 minute mad dash across country whilst jumping obstacles that get in your way such as log piles, ditches and hedges.

The more I can raise the more determined I will be to see this through to a successful end
