Story
Hello, it's only me ;)
OK, so a few weeks ago a friend of mine who, like Staceman, lives with CF messaged me to ask if I would be interested in doing a skydive for charity, not thinking about the fact that this involves jumping out of a plane from a rediculous height I said "yeh course i will" and before I could think about it any more I was sent booking info dates and added to "The List"!!!
Sooooo..... if you guys are able to, it would be amazing if you could sponsor me in supporting this charity which is very close to my (and I know many of your) hearts. If any of you would like to actually see me hurl myself out of a plane there is also a spectators area!!!.......for a small fee ;)
I will update this page soon but just wanted to make a start, watch this space...
I know Jo has put loads of brilliant work into arranging this event in Nottingham (www.bpslangar.co.uk) and has put togeather the following info about what we are doing and why -
BREATH OF LIFE CHARITY
Breath of Life is a charity which fights respiratory conditions and lung disease in North Staffordshire. We help with funding for research into lung disease, provide respiratory equipment and help people to take care of their lungs.
THE CF PROJECT
This project is to help people with Cystic Fibrosis. Breath of Life’s CF Project wants to help patients at home to buy equipment or help fund for gym memberships to try and reduce the need for stays in hospital. We also want to make the hospital facilities equipped with everything CF adults need and want when staying in hospital. We expect that this will within a purpose built, CF ward that is anticipated a part of the new hospital plans.
Breath of Life” is the appeal arm of the North Staffordshire Respiratory Research Foundation Registered in England as a private company.
