Story
When the Church Council (PCC) sets it budget each year we do so in the light of our vision. There’s an element of faith in this which is why we expected to hold a Gift Day.
So far during 2012 we have managed our finances well, with income being slightly less than expected, but balanced by cost-savings. We now need to raise £50,000 on top of our regular giving so that we can meet all of our planned commitments through to the end of the year.
Effectively we have a ‘faith gap’ in our budget and it needs to be filled. To do this we need firstly your prayers for God’s provision and secondly your financial support through giving.
Matthew Porter will be speaking about the value of generosity at most of our congregations on 16 September and will encourage us to live out this value in every aspect of life. If you miss those talks you might find it helpful to go on-line and listen.
Please prayerfully consider how you can contribute to the on-going work of the Belfrey either through a one-off gift or regular giving.
With many thanks for your ongoing support for the life and work of The Belfrey.
