We fight for hospice care to support all who need it, now and forever

Story

We have now completed the race, we all made it round safely despite the incredibly hot temperature. It was a great day, you can still sponsor me through this page.

I am running the Edinburgh Relay Marathon with some colleagues from work. I am on the 3rd leg which is 7.6 miles. We are in the 'Auld Reekie' category - which means we have an average age of 45+, hard to believe I know! I am setting up my page a bit late as I suffered a knee injury training and it has been a bit touch and go if I could run (getting excuses in early!).

The charity 'Help the Hospices' means a lot to me as my Dad spent the last weeks of his life in a local hospice and the care and support they provide to families in that situation is fantastic. They rely on donations so please give as much as you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
