Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm passionate about young people and deeply care about giving them hope and inspiration. As a youth minister I believe every young person is important, extremely gifted and has tremendous potential locked up inside of them!
However as we all know, sometimes life and circumstances (often beyond their control) deals them a 'bad hand' which lands a major blow to their future prospects causing some to stop dreaming and abort that seed of potential locked up inside of them.
On a crisp November Saturday morning there's nothing more I enjoy doing than waking up to warm house, a cup of coffee, reading a good book and spending time with the family before settling down to catch the football on TV.
However on the 12th of November this crisp November morning will be different for me and my colleagues as we endure a gruelling and soul destroying commando series in aid of Charity.
Commando series is a 6-12km course with 18 of the toughest obstacles straight out of the commando test book, this is the only event the can recreate the mud, sweat and pain of modern day Royal Marines Commando training!
Who wants to be yelled at by a sergeant major while having your face in the mud? Not my idea of fun believe me....
So I'll be giving up my comfort in order to support Centre point to continue their great work in helping 16-25 year olds find a safe place to live, proving them with a health assessment and a plan to support their individual mental and psychical health needs.
The charity does a tremendous job in helping thousands of disadvantaged young people on their path to independence and route to fulling their potential and dreams.
Please support me as I do my part to endure pain, sweat and potential tears to help make a difference to a young person's life.
Thank you.
