We provide care and support to individuals and families affected by EB

Story

Hi there,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page - Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I've been wanting to do something for years to support DebRA and now I've put those thoughts into action...  I got into cycling because my feet can't cope with the impact of running, so it seems fitting to do this epic ride for a charity close to my heart!  EB can be extremely painful and difficult to manage so all support is welcome!

DebRA provides an expert team of nurses and social care staff to work directly with families affected by EB, visiting them in their own homes, and by being on 24 hour call should any advice be needed.

The charity also commissions world-leading research into the condition with the aim of finding effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure for EB. Because DebRA receives no government funding, DebRA relies on the generosity of the public to carry out its vital work, improving lives and giving hope.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: DebRA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now and OOODDLES of thanks for your support!!
