Gems & Paul-Skydiving for the British Liver Trust
Fundraising for British Liver Trust
Fundraising for British Liver Trust
On Sunday 26th June- Paul & Gems will be jumping out of an aeroplane in Oxfordshire and we need your help in reaching our fund raising target.
This charity is close to our heart and really appriciate any donation you can spare....
As some of you may know, Gems unfortunately became quite unwell with a liver problem last year which is still being investigated at the moment. After much testing, the doctors now think she has a rare genetic disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitius (PSC). Gems has an appointment at the end of June with a leading expert in the disease who will hopefully be able to shine some light on the matter.
It is for this reason that we we have decided help people like Gems by raising some money for The British Liver Trust by doing something utterly stupid-jumping out of a plane.
Liver disease kills more men than Parkinson's disease and more women than cancer of the cervix and it is on the increase. The British Liver Trust is the UK's only national liver disease charity for adults. Through its Helpline, specialist publications and website, the Trust aims to raise the profile of all liver diseases, encourage prevention and achieve greater recognition, better support and wider understanding for people with liver disease
