Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page devoted to the memory of my daughter Geeta who died aged 19 in 2004.

As a tribute to this wonderfully brave girl, together with my dearest friends and family we are hosting The Rainbow Charity Ball on 10 May 2014 at the beautiful Plaisterers' Hall in the City of London. Geeta was a much loved and inspiring young person and in memory of her short life we would like to acknowledge and show our appreciation for the care and support provided by the hospital during the 16 years she was a patient at Great Ormond Street.

Our dream is to raise £100,000 to fund a fully equipped Respiratory Unit with ensuite facilities for parents in the new Mittal Children's Medical Centre at Great Ormond Street. This will help the hospital acheive it's aim to provide updated facilities for very poorly children, and enable parents to stay comfortably by their childs bedside at a time when the presence of a loved one is so important to maintain hope.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Geeta has left a legacy of love, hope and positivity that remains with her family and friends to this day, so please dig deep and donate now.
